Okay this has been quite a week. I've been taxing the rest of the team to death, and I sense a revolt coming. So here I am, coming up for air, dropping the latest xBB, and giving some hints. This latest xBB is all about the installer. This installer is good for free users, xB Plus clients, and xB Pro clients. It gets even better... new users can create demo accounts and trial xerobank right from the installer! And the download is as small as ever.
Regarding the browser itself, we cleaned it up for vista, and improved some of the structure. Soon it will be getting a much stronger overhaul. We updated everything in it, as per usual, Firefox/Geckos core, plugins, new plugins, tor, etc.
So I'm done with version A, and we're uploading it. Still some planning on how we are going to do upgrades from one installer to another, considering that xB Browser doesn't use the registry for info storage.

I am sorry, but this installer is not working for the free account. When you push the installer.exe it appears the first screen about the "Agree" choice, and after that, the space required for installing is 0 KB. So I proceed, and looks like it was installed. The problem is, the installer is not creating any files on the Program Files/XeroBank directory.
This is the message placed by the installer right before the installation is completed (I was lucky to save by pressing the print-screen button):

I don't understand. My PC has Winrar installed and before, XB was
installed correctly because the extension 7z is recognized here. I suggest you try to install XB on your own computer! There's something wrong!
Icons and menu entries were created after the installation was completed, but no personal icons from XB logo were created on these icons. It's like was not installed at all.

I just installed it, but when entering my Transaction ID as a existing member, I get an error message : Unable to download scripts. Check Transaction Id.

Steve, the problem was solved by renaming the installer - from .Exe to .7z and unpacking all the files, like the old times. You need to rename the file to xBBrowserInstaller.7z ! It's working so far!

If you would, please send me your transaction ID to my email, so I can debug the issue.
Alternatively, go to the Data/XeroBank folder and open the xerobank.key and xerobank.usr files in notepad and tell me the contents. It should be an error of some sort.

Hmmm... not supported archive... 7zip should be able to extract it. Either the archive is damaged, or it doesn't know how. I'll need to investigate if more DLLs are required.

I've uploaded a new version. The other version may not have finished extracting data.7z before trying to extract the archive inside it. So I've made sure data.7z is uncompressed prior to extracting it out of the installer.
I have a Pro account. When I start the install and select that I am a XeroBank member, I input my transaction ID and click Install. I see that it says connecting, but then that goes away and the installer asks me if I want it to put a shortcut on the desktop and start menu. I tell it yes. When I click on those shortcuts, It tells me it can't find XBBrowser.exe. If I go check the Program Files/XeroBank directory, there's only a a Data directory with another directory within it labeled XeroBank, but there are no files. I'm excited to give this browser a shot, but the installer isn't working for me.
